Authentic Crystals, Minerals, Fossils & Meteorites — Selected for Collectors and Curious Minds
Our Approach
Every specimen has a story shaped by geology, locality, and time. At Grounded Lifestyles, we carefully select authentic crystals, minerals, fossils, and meteorites for collectors, curious minds, and those who simply appreciate Earth's natural beauty. We believe understanding where a specimen comes from, how it formed, and what makes it distinctive adds meaning to every piece.
We offer carefully selected crystals, mineral specimens, fossils, meteorites, lapidary materials, and gemstone jewelry, with an emphasis on authenticity, locality, provenance, and the individual character of each piece.
In 2026, Grounded Lifestyles acquired the Donald Wininger Collection, representing three generations of mineral collecting from the 1940s through the early 2000s. With specimens from historic North American localities and decades of collecting history, the collection has become an important part of our ongoing research, educational articles, exhibits, and collector offerings.
We enjoy meeting collectors and customers in person. Grounded Lifestyles maintains permanent booth locations in West Sedona, Prescott, and Payson, Arizona, and travels throughout the year to gem, mineral, and specialty shows across the Southwest. These events give us an opportunity to share unusual specimens, talk geology and collecting, and connect directly with the people who share our fascination with Earth’s natural history.
Our newsletter keeps our community connected with upcoming events, new and unusual specimens, monthly offers, and our growing library of free educational e-books covering mineral collecting, geology, crystals, fossils, meteorites, lapidary topics, and field guides.
Grounded Lifestyles began with an interest in Reiki and crystal traditions, but the stones themselves soon inspired deeper questions: Where did they come from? How did they form? Why does the same mineral look completely different from one locality to another?
Those questions led to a growing passion for mineralogy, geology, fossils, meteorites, lapidary materials, and mineral collecting. Today, that curiosity remains at the heart of Grounded Lifestyles. We believe science, history, collecting, and tradition can coexist, giving people different ways to appreciate the remarkable materials produced by our planet—and occasionally beyond it.
That philosophy influences how we select and present our specimens. Whenever information is available, we research locality, geological formation, mineral characteristics, provenance, and collector significance. For historic and estate specimens, original labels and collection history can be just as meaningful as the mineral itself.
It also inspired Mine to Mind, our educational resource devoted to the geology, history, localities, science, and collecting stories behind the specimens we offer. Whether you are an experienced collector, just beginning a collection, searching for something unusual, or simply curious about Earth’s natural history, we want you to understand more about the piece you choose—not simply purchase it.
